We are a company that is making a difference!

     The Great American Backpack Exchange holds weekly backpack exchange events, in local communities, from June through August.  This is an opportunity for children to get new, recycled school bags for the upcoming school year.   We request that parents or students bring a gently used, or reasonably cleaned backpacks/school bags in for donation the week prior to their local backpack event, at a designated drop-off area.  A $10 donation for a Backpack Exchange admission ticket is also required for entrance.

     On the day of the event, parents or students select a new, recycled backpack, from a vast selection of bags.  In the event you do not find a backpack, you will receive a ticket to attend any other local event throughout the summer, until you find your perfect bag.  Any leftover backpacks at the end of the summer, will be donated to needy children, in our own community. 

What Makes Our Business Unique?

• Promoting Backpack Recycling - Helps us all to do our part and teaching our children, to be environmentally conscious.

• Promoting Education - Through purchasing a $10 admission ticket, $1 of each admission fee, directly supports your local school.  An additional $1 of each admission fee, directly supports your local school's PTO.
  

• Promoting Charity -At the end of the summer, any remaining backpacks will be donated to local needy children, while again supporting our own community.
  

• De-cluttering Your Home - By donating and recycling your school bags, you are helping to reduce your clutter and stress at home, while getting a jump ahead on back-to-school shopping.
  

• Promoting Community - By reusing school backpacks, at local neighborhood events, it helps to keep local companies in business, supporting our families, our schools, and communities interests.
